From electrician to day laborer, the "Ela Faz" (She does it) project helps unemployed or socially vulnerable women to re-enter the labor market.

An exclusive platform for women to relocate or seek opportunities in the job market. A quick description of the "Ela Faz" project, created by entrepreneur Lívia Viana, which works as a catalog of autonomous services provided by women for other women.
"Our desire was to help women to be autonomous, to generate income from this, and, from this, to offer services to other women who, by chance, feel insecure about receiving strange men at home for some repair service, for example. This helps create a network of sorority among women," explained Lívia.
For now, the project has served the Metropolitan Region of São Luís, but has records of collaborators who work as electricians, masons, day laborers, painters, furniture assemblers, master builders, nannies, cooks, make-up artists, manicurists, waxers, hairdressers, and several others.
Besides offering the services of these women, the project also offers training courses for the associated professionals. "Our purpose is not to exclude men, but to put women on an equal footing. United, we will have a very large economic gain," added Lívia.
Among the project's main data are: working with unemployed women in social vulnerability and/or in search of professional relocation; an age range of 30 to 45 years; a public outreach of 80 women; with women living in risk areas, such as Camboa, Jaracaty, and Liberdade, mainly from the C and D social classes.
